Regoinal Sport Training Centre, Saidan Kolasib

Well after a long interval, i'm updating my blog with a picture post.
Its the Construction site for Regional Sport Centre, Saidan Kolasib.
This Project is funded by NEC, Govt. of India. The Contractor appointed for this Project is Lushai Engineers Pvt. Ltd, Ramhlun South. under the supervision of Dept. of Sports and Youth Services, Gov. of Mizoram.


Thanks to the undying effort of Pu Zodintluanga, Hon'ble Minister SYS, Mizoram, Pu PC Zoram Sangliana, Minister & MLA Kolasib Constituency, town like Kolasib have taken the first move towards the development of Sports Infrastructure for the youth of Mizoram.

Some of the Facilities Provided (items mention in the DPR) are
1) Residential Hostel.
2) Admin. Officer's Qtr.
3) Chowkidar Qtr.
Sports Facilities
1) Indoor TT Court, Gymnasium,
2) Indoor Stadium for judo.
3) Football Ground
4) Running track
5) Volley Ball Court
6) Facilities for Jeveline throw, Hammer throw, Discuss Throw, Shot Put, High Jump, long Jump, Pole Vault
In addition to these there is a provision for the construction of Drains, Compound Fencing etc.
The total cost of this project is approx 5 Crore.
