Laldenga

Laldenga
(M.P.CRONICAL: 16 March, 1984)

The government has no proposal for holding talks with Mizo National Front leader Laldenga in view of the ban on his organisation and the Mizo National Army.

Minister of state for home Ram Dulari Sinha told that the ban was in view of the unlawful activities carried on by the Mizo National Front.

The minister said the government of Mizoram had taken steps to ensure that these organisation did not indulge in illegal tax collection or harassment of people, and that cases were registered whenever such incidents were reported.

I don't wanna make any comment on the things u've been posted yet. But, I wanna have one regarding your 'blog news' which reads "I have lots of National Newspaper clipping during the time of Mizoram Struggle for Independence, I will be posting them."

The thing is, whenever I think about our fathers struggling for independence, i feel sad. So sad and ashamed.

My dear father was shot during those times. Fortunately he still lives with us. But whenever I saw my father's left hand......... My brother, he never stretched his three fingers like us because of that bullet he received from the Indian army.

I know I was really fortunate, fortunate enough to have a father to rely upon. Even if I was shocked by those words of 'Struggle for independence', I could never imagined the tears of those who lost their father or brother because of that bloody but very disappointed struggle.

So, dear brother, if you do not stop posting those useless (yes, those that hurts so many peoples' heart) words, I'll stop reading your blog until you start another chapter. But you will still(and always) be my brother.

My Dear Brother,
I just want to share what was the atmosphere during those days. Our Generation never faced those hardships. I dont want other to know just that MIzoram under the leadership of Mr Laldenga fought for independence (at least that what they told the world) and it was ended with a peace accord in 1986.
I want the world to know what is behind the scene during those 20 years.
I'm very sorry to hear about your family but you must not shy away from the truth. The truth for me is Mr Laldenga betrayed his followers.
As a suggestion from a good friend I will not just post them now. I will personally read those and post only interesting Clippings.
Thanks a lot for the suggestion
